Sync with Apple Health or Health Connect

Before you continue, make sure your activity tracking app allows access to its data by Apple Health or Health Connect.

The first time you open the app, you will be asked to sync your health data:

  • iOS - Apple Health
  • Android - Health Connect

✅ Accept all requested permissions — only data related to distance, speed, and heart rate will be used.

This allows the app to automatically import your recorded training sessions (from Polar, Garmin, etc.).

  • Some activity tracking apps require third-party apps to set up synchronization with Google Fit and Health Connect. This is the case, for example, with Huawei Health, which requires the use of the Health Sync app...

➕ Add the Health Data module to your menu

To add the Health Data module to your menu:

  • Click the Menu button.
  • In the Personalization section, click Preferences.
  • Then click Menu configuration.
  • Simply click the ➕ button next to Health Data to add it to your menu.

⬇️ Import your activity as a player session

Once your activities are synchronized in MyCoach Pro AMS, you can import them as player sessions.

  • From Home or the Health Data module, select the activity to import.
  • From the selected activity, click Create a player session.
  • Configure your session; it will be created with your activity data included.

F.A.Q.

I can’t find some of my Polar Flow or Garmin Connect activities in MyCoach Pro AMS. What should I do? If some of your Polar or Garmin activities do not appear in MyCoach Pro AMS, here is how to fix the issue:

  1. Check that the activity exists in the original app. Make sure the activity is visible in Polar Flow or Garmin Connect.

  2. Check that the activity is being sent to Apple Health / Health Connect.

  3. Android devices

  4. Open Settings → Security and privacy → Health Connect → Data and access.

  5. Check whether data (distance, heart rate, etc.) is recorded on the relevant dates.

  6. Apple devices

  7. Open the Apple Health app, then go to the Browse tab.

  8. Select a category (for example: Activity, Heart) and check whether data is recorded on the relevant dates.

If no data is available, it is normal for nothing to appear in MyCoach Pro AMS.

  1. Force a new sync from Polar Flow or Garmin Connect You can restart the synchronization of your activities from the Polar Flow or Garmin Connect app. This will not affect sessions already imported into MyCoach Pro AMS.

If the issue persists, contact support and provide:

  • The date of the missing activity and a screenshot from Polar / Garmin
  • A screenshot of your Health Connect
  • Screenshots from your Apple Health / Health Connect app

How does the health data synchronization process work?

  • Health data synchronization follows several steps to enable the syncing of your activities in the MyCoach Pro AMS mobile app.
  • If one of these synchronization steps does not work properly, you will not be able to see your activities in MyCoach Pro AMS.
  • As mentioned above, the most commonly reported issue is a failed synchronization between your activity app (Polar Flow / Garmin Connect / Whoop, etc.) and your device health app (Health Connect / Apple Health).
