Medical - Mobile

Module objective

The new version of the medical module in the MyCoach Pro - AMS mobile app makes it possible to enter, view, and share essential medical information directly from the field or while on the move.

This mobile version brings the main improvements already available on the web, with a workflow adapted for fast, operational use.

What changes in this new version

The new mobile medical module introduces several major improvements:

  • A full medical module on mobile, which did not previously exist in this form.
  • A richer and simpler pathology entry flow.
  • Consultations, now managed as real events.
  • Notes, attached to consultations, with distinct visibility levels.
  • Documents, shareable according to defined permissions.
  • Askamon synchronization directly from mobile for compatible cases.

⚠️ Important: The statistics / epidemiology section is still available only on the web.

App setup

Before using the medical module, the mobile app can be configured to adapt the display to each user’s needs.

Home screen setup

From the home screen, the user can:

  • Choose which widgets are displayed.
  • Define their order.
  • Highlight, for example, the Fitness status widget.

Team or group filtering

On some widgets, it is possible to choose:

  • Which teams to display.
  • Or a specific player group if the user follows a dedicated group.

Calendar settings

From the calendar widget, the user can:

  • Filter certain event types.
  • Choose a dense view or card view.
  • Show colors by event type.

This setup makes medical consultations and events easier to read.

Add the medical module to your menu

The medical module may not appear by default in the bottom navigation bar. In that case:

  1. Open the Menu.
  2. Go to menu settings.
  3. Choose the items to display in the bottom bar.
  4. Place the Medical module where you want it.

The mobile app can then be configured just like the web platform.

Mobile medical module structure

The medical module is organized into four main sections:

  • Pathologies
  • Consultations
  • Notes
  • Documents

This structure makes it easy to find the right information depending on the current need.

Pathologies view

The Pathologies view brings together all pathologies visible to the user. For each pathology, you will find in particular:

  • Date
  • Patient
  • Diagnosis
  • Affected area
  • Side
  • Estimated return date
  • Actual return date
  • Associated consultation if any
  • Previous occurrence information
  • Related indicators or labels

Consultations view

The Consultations view brings together all consultations visible to the user, including:

  • Date
  • Patient
  • Consultation type
  • Related pathology if applicable
  • Practitioner
  • Time and duration

Notes view

The Notes view centralizes all notes the user is allowed to consult, regardless of their original consultation.

Documents view

The Documents view centralizes all documents accessible to the user, whether they are linked to a consultation or a pathology.

Medical access from a player profile

In addition to the medical module, it is also possible to access medical information directly from a player profile. From the player profile, a filter lets you display only the medical section.

In this view, the user can find the player’s main medical elements, including:

  • Consultations
  • Pathologies
  • Fitness status
  • RTT plan
  • Allergies
  • Prescriptions
  • Calendar
  • Documents
  • Medical profile

This entry is especially useful for working player by player.

Create a pathology

Creating a pathology is one of the core features of the new mobile medical module.

Access the creation flow

From the pathology list, the user can add a new pathology using the add button. Two types are available:

  • Injury
  • Illness

Creation steps

When creating a pathology, the user can enter:

  • Patient
  • Estimated return date
  • Actual return date if known
  • Player status
  • Diagnosis

As on the web, diagnosis search is integrated into the entry flow. For some injuries, an indicator shows whether the pathology can be synchronized with Askamon.

⚠️ Askamon sync rule: If the Askamon indicator does not appear, or if the case is not eligible, the pathology cannot be synchronized. A common blocking issue is that the patient is not synchronized with Askamon.

Detailed pathology description

The mobile entry flow includes the advanced web fields. The user can enter in particular:

  • Side
  • Position
  • Mechanism of action
  • Onset
  • Contact
  • Surface type
  • Occurrence

Depending on the case, it is also possible to specify:

  • A surgical intervention
  • A pre-existing pathology

Occurrence and history

If the user indicates a relapse or recurrence, they can link the new pathology to a previous pathology for the player.

Linking to an event

The pathology can be linked to:

  • A MyCoach event
  • Or an external event

In the case of a MyCoach event, the user can, for example, link the injury to a session.

Pathology comments

When entering data, three comment levels can be used:

  • Medical comment
  • Paramedical comment
  • Staff performance / medical comment

Comment visibility

ProfileVisible comments
MedicalAll three comments
ParamedicalThe last two only
Staff performance / medicalThe last one only

This structure keeps information flow aligned with each role.

Understanding pathology as a follow-up file

Once created, the pathology becomes a central working item. It gradually gathers:

  • Related consultations
  • Notes from those consultations
  • Documents linked to the pathology or its consultations

The pathology therefore acts as a medical follow-up file for a given case.

Create a consultation

From a pathology, it is possible to create a linked consultation directly.

Consultation type

The consultation is presented as a new event type in MyCoach Pro. It is not only used for medical follow-up: it also exists as part of the calendar.

Consultation information

When creating a consultation, the user can enter in particular:

  • Practitioner
  • Patient
  • Current fitness status
  • Related pathology
  • Or create a related pathology directly from the consultation

Consultation visibility

The consultation includes visibility management:

  • Visible or not visible to the patient
  • Visibility for staff depending on permissions and selected teams

This visibility lets the relevant people see the event in the calendar, with access to the basic information, without exposing all sensitive data.

Consultations in the calendar

Consultations are real calendar events. This means they are:

  • Usable in the medical module
  • Visible in the Calendar module
  • Creatable from the Calendar module

This is key to integrating medical follow-up into the daily organization of staff.

Add notes to a consultation

Once inside a consultation, the user can add one or more notes.

Role of notes

Notes make it possible to enrich a consultation with follow-up, observation, or handover information.

Note entry

Notes can be entered:

  • With the keyboard
  • With text editing options
  • With the ability to dictate the consultation to save time

Note visibility

Each note has its own visibility. Several pieces of information can be attached to the same consultation while remaining visible only to the right people:

  • One item may remain private.
  • Another may be shared with paramedical staff.
  • Other combinations can be defined depending on the authorized audience, including the patient in some cases.

Note author

Each note keeps its author, which makes it possible to:

  • Know who entered the information
  • Maintain clear traceability
  • Share information in a targeted way within the same consultation

Add documents

As on the web, it is possible to add documents to a consultation.

Available actions

The user can:

  • Upload a file
  • Edit the document
  • Adjust its visibility
  • Make the document visible to the patient if needed

Consolidation effect

Once uploaded, the documents are visible:

  • In the consultation
  • In the linked pathology

This means the pathology provides a complete view of all items related to a case.

Consultation view

A consultation groups together the useful information at a given time, including:

  • Patient
  • Practitioner
  • Linked pathology
  • Patient’s pathology history if needed
  • Notes taken during or after the consultation
  • Associated documents

This view makes it possible to work quickly on a specific medical act.

Pathology view

The pathology provides a broader, longitudinal view. From a pathology, it is possible to consult:

  • All linked consultations
  • All notes linked to those consultations
  • All documents from the pathology or linked consultations

The pathology is therefore the best view for following the full evolution of a case.

Askamon sync on mobile

Askamon synchronization is available on mobile for compatible cases.

Synchronization statuses

In the pathology list, a status makes it possible to identify:

  • Pathologies that cannot be synchronized
  • Pathologies ready to be synchronized
  • Pathologies already synchronized

The user can launch synchronization from the relevant pathology. After sending, the status changes to confirm successful synchronization.

Privacy and information sharing rules

The new module strongly emphasizes confidentiality management. This logic relies on several levels:

  • Pathology comment visibility
  • Consultation visibility
  • Note visibility
  • Document visibility

The goal is twofold: keep information detailed and usable, while sharing each piece of data only with authorized people.

What the mobile medical module enables in practice

On a daily basis, this new version makes it possible to:

  • Enter an injury or illness quickly.
  • Structure a follow-up file around a pathology.
  • Create consultations as calendar events.
  • Document each consultation with notes whose visibility can be controlled.
  • Attach and share documents.
  • Use Askamon synchronization when the case is compatible.
  • Find information by pathology, by consultation, by player, or through the cross-functional Notes and Documents sections.

1. Create a pathology

  1. Create a pathology of type injury.
  2. Fill in the diagnosis and descriptive fields.
  3. Link the pathology to a session or external event if needed.
  4. Complete the comments according to the desired sharing level.

2. Follow the case

  1. Open the pathology.
  2. Create a linked consultation.
  3. Enter the practitioner, patient, and visibility.
  4. Add one or more notes.
  5. Attach useful documents.
  6. Then find everything in the consolidated pathology view.

3. External synchronization

  1. Check that the pathology is compatible with Askamon.
  2. Check that the patient is properly synchronized.
  3. Launch synchronization.
  4. Check the status change after sending.

Mobile limitations

⚠️ The statistics / epidemiology section is not available on mobile. It remains available on the web only.

Summary

The new MyCoach Pro mobile medical module turns the app into a real field follow-up tool. The overall logic is based on four complementary building blocks:

  • The pathology as the central file.
  • The consultation as a follow-up event.
  • The note as a shareable information unit with fine-grained visibility.
  • The document as an attachment to the case file.

Together, these elements provide faster entry, better longitudinal follow-up, clearer information sharing between authorized roles, and a smooth continuity between mobile medical use, the calendar, and the web platform.
